Meet The Authors
Ian Ziskin
President, EXec EXcel Group LLC, has 40 years of experience as a business leader, board advisor and member, coach, consultant, entrepreneur, teacher, speaker, and author. He is the Co-Founder and Partner of Business inSITE Group (BiG), Co-Founder of the Consortium for Change (C4C), and Co-Founder of the CHREATE Project. His global leadership experience includes Chief Human Resources Officer and/or other senior leadership roles with three Fortune 100 companies – Northrop Grumman, Qwest Communications, and TRW. He has a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University and is a magna cum laude graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Ian has written dozens of articles, blogs, and book chapters on the future of work, HR, leadership, coaching, and HR’s role with the board of directors.

Principal of Heron Strategy Partners (Heron), is a prominent leadership and executive development expert. She has been a professor, dean, and CEO of UCLA Anderson, Emory Goizueta, WashU Olin, WashU at Brookings, and UVA Darden. Heron is a collaborative of learning leaders that provide learning, leadership, and advisory services to organizations and individuals.

Rebecca Feder
Principal Consultant of Princeton HR Insight LLC, is a seasoned HR executive who has been consistently recognized for innovative solutions that drive alignment and deliver results. She has coached hundreds of executives and teams to understand how motivation and different management styles can positively impact performance to accelerate effectiveness. Her approach focuses on identifying areas of impact, then designing and delivering programs that link HR actions to business strategy to ensure that goals are achieved, initiatives are sustained, and the company is ready to meet future demands.

Tessa Finlev
is Dolby Laboratories’ first ever Foresight Strategist. Her primary focus is on designing shared processes for understanding emerging futures and connecting the dots to strategy, innovation, and company culture. In her decade-plus in the foresight field, Tessa has traveled the world teaching, presenting, and researching possible futures for a wide range of audiences.

Steve Fitzgerald
is the CEO of the Firestorm Group Ltd, where he consults on the topic of human capital strategy and serves on various Boards. His executive career spanned 30+ years, in which he held the Chief HR/Talent Officer position at Bridgewater Associates, Visteon, Vail Resorts, and Fairlane Credit.

Maria Forbes
Managing Director, Hitch UP Inc., focuses on strategic alignment among leadership teams and how they engage colleagues at all levels in developing strategy and business change initiatives. She has a proven record of achievements and a long career in strategic and global organization change, addressing a broad range of needs to enable successful execution of business strategy, including leader alignment, business transformation, and employee engagement in organizations across multiple industries and geographies.

Marisa Harris
Founder of Transformational Solutions, is an accomplished coach, teacher, and consultant, who empowers leaders with a life-threatening cancer to recognize and apply the universal principles of success to their health challenge. Her application of leadership principles to her own life-threatening diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 1998, has been featured in publications, on media, and most recently in the book FULFILLED! Critical Choices: Work, Home, Life, by William A. Schiemann.

Lori Heffelfinger
is the Founding Partner of The Heffelfinger Company Inc., a consultancy instrumental in helping leaders, teams, and organizations get to the heart of issues to positively impact relationships, productivity, and the bottom line. Lori led Organization Development and HR functions at Honeywell and Raytheon, helping them transform leaders, their functions, and businesses.

Sophia Kristjansson
works with leaders to maximize organizational potential. She is the principal of Lexicon Lens, a boutique consulting firm in DEI, change management, and people development. She is also a member of the faculty at the University of Denver in organizational leadership, strategic human resource practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.

Heather Laychak
is Vice President and Chief People Officer for The Aerospace Corporation. She has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources in both for profit and nonprofit companies across multiple industries including aerospace and defense, academia, retail, entertainment, and healthcare. Heather was a founding member of the American Red Cross Auxiliary Board in Chicago, IL. She currently serves as a board member for the National Kidney Foundation, Southern California Chapter, and is a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow.

Lacey Leone McLaughlin
Principal and Executive Coach at LLM Consulting Group, brings 20 years of experience to her executive coaching and talent management consulting practice. Lacey has worked with clients across all industries and sizes including aerospace, automotive, entertainment, media, professional services, retail, and technology, ranging from entrepreneurial-led start-ups to Global/Fortune 100 companies.

Karen Jaw-Madson
is principal of Co.-Design of Work Experience, author of Culture Your Culture: Innovating Experiences @ Work (Emerald Group Publishing, 2018), founder of Future of Work platform A New HR, an executive coach, and instructor at Stanford University’s Continuing Studies Program. Alan May
is the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Linda Naiman
Corporate Alchemist and Founder of Creativity at Work, helps executives and their teams develop creativity, innovation, and leadership capabilities through coaching, training, and consulting. Dermot O’Brien
is the recently retired Chief Transformation Officer at ADP, and the prior CHRO at ADP and TIAA.
